XFN puts a human face on linking. As more people have come online and begun to form social networks, services such as Technorati and Feedster have arisen in an attempt to show how the various nodes are connected. Such services are useful for discovering the mechanical connections between nodes, but they do not uncover the human relationships between the people responsible for the nodes.

XFN outlines the relationships between individuals by defining a small set of values that describe personal relationships. In HTML and XHTML documents, these are given as values for the rel attribute on a hyperlink. XFN allows authors to indicate which of the weblogs they read belong to friends, whom they’ve physically met, and other personal relationships. Using XFN values, which can be listed in any order, people can humanize their blogrolls and links pages, both of which have become a common feature of weblogs.

In sufficiently modern browsers, authors using XFN can easily style all links of a particular type; thus, friends could be boldfaced, co-workers italicized, and so on. It is also the hope of the authors that this practice becomes widespread enough to allow the creation of a service that charts personal (as opposed to purely mechanical) links between weblogs and the people responsible for them.

Why are unique passwords important?
Using a unique password helps keep your accounts and data safe. It’s especially important to use unique passwords for important accounts such as banking, social networks, and email. You’re likely to have dozens of accounts across the web, and you can’t guarantee the security of all of those accounts. Many smaller companies don’t have security technology capable of guarding your data from cyber criminals. When you use the same password across the web, a cyber criminal can gain access to a less secure account and then use that password to compromise your important accounts.

How do I add an extra layer of security?
Once you’ve created a smart password, you can add an extra layer of security by enabling 2-step verification. Not all Internet accounts have this security option, but your Google Account does. 2-step verification requires you to have access to your phone, as well as your username and password, when you sign in. This means that if someone steals or guesses your password, the potential hijacker still can’t sign in to your account because they don’t have your phone. Now you can protect yourself with something you know (your password) and something you have (your phone).

جب اس گلے شکوے پر میں نے غور کیا تو میرے ذہن میں ایک اور سوال اٹھا کہ جب ایک ماں اپنے بچے کو جلتے کوئلے سے کھیلنے سے منع کرتی ہے اور وہ منع نہیں ہوتا تو کیوں یہ کہتی ہے کہ “ٹھیک ہےجاؤ ہاتھ لاگا لو جلے گا تو روتے ہوئے میرے پاس نہیں آنا” اس سوال کا زہن میں آنا تھا کہ کچھ لمحوں تک میرے آنکھیں کھلی کی کھلی رہ گئیں سوچ کے سلسلے تھم گئے منہ سے بے اختیار اللہ اکبر نکلا اور اتنا سمجھ میں آیا کہ خدا اپنے بندوں سے ستر ماؤں سے زیادہ پیار کرتا ہے  تو جب بندے اس کے بلانے پر اس کی طرف توجہ نہیں دیتا اس کے منع کرنے پر کوئلے سے دور نہیں ہوتے تو وہ کہ دیتا ہے تھیک ہے لگا لو ہاتھ جلے گا درد ہوگا تو میری یاد آئے گی تب خوش نصیبوں میں سے ہو گے اگر میں نے دوا کر دی، اور میں تو بہت رحیم ہوں
